As the Miami Hurricanes continue the journey of the 2026 regular season, our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook have released odds for the week 9 road game against the Pittsburgh Panthers.
With no further ado, your FanDuel Sportsbook line of the week:
Miami is coning off a 52-23 beatdown of the Pittsburgh Panthers and looking to keep the momentum going. Miami could
and likely should have scored 60+ if not 70 points in the Pitt game, and after the trash talk from their coach and players for more than a year, that wouldn’t have been enough. Even with the 52 points scored, Miami had sloppy moments to address, which should be a scary moment for future opponents because this team can get MUCH better.
For North Carolina, they were maybe looking ahead to this upcoming game and lost to Syracuse 31-30 in overtime. That’s a bad, bad loss, and definitely look-ahead situation. Let this be a lesson to Miami: focus on the game at hand, and let the future be the future. I know Mario Cristobal is incessant with his “1-0” mantra, but this is more support for that focus.
We all know the storyline that will be beaten into the ground this week: Carolina is coached by Bill Belicheck, a coach with incredible accolades from his work in the NFL. His expertise will be juxtaposed against Cristobal’s coaching acumen, and everybody and their momma will have something to say about it.
Regardless of the coach, Carolina doesn’t have the players to compete with Miami. Yes, respect all opponents and everything, but if Miami plays to The Standard for performance, this game shouldn’t end up being close.
We’ll track the line through the week, and see how things play out on Saturday Night in Primetime.
