The SEC recently announced its all-conference recognitions for the women’s college basketball season.
Notably, Texas junior Madison Booker was named to All-SEC first-team.
Rori Harmon earned All-SEC second-team the All-Defensive team honors.

“Booker is averaging career-highs in points (18.8), rebounds (6.3) steals (2.3) and field goal percentage (50.7) this season for the fourth-ranked Longhorns (28-3, 13-3 SEC), who finished the regular season with a 72-65 win at No. 24 Alabama on Sunday,
earning the No. 3 seed in the SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament being played this week at Bon Secours Arena in Geenville, S.C. Earlier this season, Harmon broke a 40-year-old record in becoming Texas’ all-time assists leader and has now extended that record by 152 assists to reach a total of 928. Harmon also became Texas’ all-time leader in steals with 365, breaking a record that stood since 1980. In her collegiate career, Harmon has 1,553 points, 928 assists, 365 steals and 629 rebounds. Harmon is the first and only player in NCAA Division I women’s basketball to reach 1,500 points, 900 assists, 600 rebounds and 350 steals. Harmon ranks third in the country this season in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.86).”
