With a new album on the way later this year, and a terrible, horrible, no good, really bad public relations year mostly* behind him, Drake recently got in bed with podcaster Bobbi Althoff for their second-ever interview (their 2023 one was deleted from the internet amid rumors of beef between the actor-turned-rap superstar and the divorced mother of two & influencer).
He indirectly addresses his feud with Kendrick Lamar, shooting down rumors he had ab surgery and laughing off the “BBL Drizzy” name
pinned on him by Metro Boomin during the exchange of diss tracks between Lamar and Drake last summer. The most damning name that stuck to Drake from his losing war with Kendrick isn’t mentioned, but the famous Torontonian did reveal his obsession with someone who’s definitely over 18… WWE’s Rhea Ripley.
At one point in their conversation (which literally takes place as they lie on a bed in a big empty high-rise space somewhere in the Swiss Alps), Drake is trying to find another rapper’s Instagram page for a point he’s making. He gets distracted by his own “For You” page on the social media app…
“I don’t have data. I’m trying to pull up — I’m trying to pull up Tyga’s Instagram. My F.Y.P. page is just all Rhea Ripley… She’s a wrestler. She’s like my muse but… I’m the opposite of probably everything that she likes.”
Based on who Ripley married, we’d guess Drake isn’t her type. We don’t doubt Rhea’s his though. In addition to how most sexual creatures likely feel something when they hear “THIS IS MY BRUTALITY” hit the speakers, Drake also says elsewhere in the interview that his dream woman is “like goth kinda like tatted all over” and that he “really feels” his “destiny is to end up with like a goth baddie”.
Say what you will about Drizzy, the man knows what he likes. We don’t think Buddy Matthews has anything to worry about though.
