The competitive landscape for the Bundesliga could be shifting a bit for Bayern Munich, as Borussia Dortmund could be on the verge of losing a key player.
Earlier this week, FC Barcelona started exploring a move for Borussia Dortmund attacker Karim Adeyemi and even submitted a (low) preliminary bid per reports. Now, though, Barca could be getting more serious per a report from Sky Germany journalist Patrick Berger. While FC Barcelona is still falling short of the rumored €40 million target for BVB,
the proposal could make Borussia Dortmund contemplate a sale:
🚨🔵🔴 Barcelona is now preparing a new offer for Karim Adeyemi (24/🇩🇪) worth €20m + €10m in bonuses, with an improved bonus structure to make the add-ons easier to achieve. Barça’s latest bid was rejected.

Despite that, Barça are unwilling to exceed €30m, as Adeyemi has just one year remaining on his contract.

With a defined ceiling on the bid, FC Barcelona might be forced to walk away from the table. However, other reports also indicate BVB knows Adeyemi will not sign a contract extension and that the Black and Yellows might need to sell him.
Things could get interesting.
