Head coach P.J. Fleck and co. started off the bye week with a bang, reeling in not one but three new verbal commitments as they put the finishing touches on this recruiting class. Completing the hat trick is Wisconsin offensive line prospect Beckett Schreiber, who has seen his recruiting heat up this fall with both Indiana and Minnesota swooping in to try and steal him away from Washington State with late offers.

Scouting Report
Even though he failed to draw an offer from the in-state Badgers, Schreiber fits the mold of a Wisconsin-recruited offensive lineman with his combination of size, fundamental technique, and physical toughness. Like any other offensive lineman, he’ll need time to develop at the next level, but there is a lot to like in his physical stature and his value as an offensive tackle, especially at a time when Minnesota is struggling to consistently recruit and develop that position. This is a very promising pick-up for the Gophers.
