There is some good news about Bo….he’s actually running. He’s got until Monday to turn running into running well enough to play in the ALCS.
And John Schneider says that both Trey Yesavage and Kevin Gausman
would be available to pitch tonight, if the situation called for them to come in. Yesavage is more likely than Gausman. I doubt either would be used unless the team was winning.
They are using Anthony Santander in right and Springer at DH. The reasoning is that, if the team was ahead, or if Santander was on base and they felt the need to replace him, they would be ok with that, but they want to keep Springer’s bat in the lineup. Makes sense to me.
Beyond that, it is business as usual for the lineup. Clement’s been swinging the bat so well, he’s in at second. I wondered if Davis Schneider would play second, but it would be hard to take Clement out of the lineup right now.
Tonight’s lineups:
I will admit, I really like today’s technology. I went for a workout this afternoon, and I listened to the Tigers/Mariners game on my earbuds. After that, I went up for a beer and watched both games on the TVs. I came home and found my wife watching something, so I have both games up on my computer in the top corners.
Just win guys.
