The Tennessee Titans announced this morning that they have opened the return window for running back Kalel Mullings and safety Mike Brown. That means they will have three weeks to either activate them
or place them on season ending Injured Reserve. Mullings has been on IR since early October because of an ankle injury. When Mullings is back, I’d like to see him get some run on offense. The Titans’ running back room will most likely look a lot different next year. Tony Pollard probably isn’t back next year, and Tyjae Spears is in the final year of his rookie contract. They need to see what they have in Mullings.
Brown will need to play some significant snaps at safety after Quandre Diggs asked for and was granted his release at the end of last week.
The Titans also announced that they signed outside linebacker Nate Lynn to the practice squad. Lynn signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent after the 2024 NFL Draft. He got hurt in the 2024 preseason and spent the year on IR. He was then cut after the Lions’ 2025 preseason. To make room for Lynn, the Titans released WR Lance McCutcheon from the practice squad.
