The Cleveland Cavaliers once again got out to a big lead and coughed it up in the fourth quarter. And just like Friday against the Brooklyn Nets, they were still able to come away with the victory as they defeated
the Milwaukee Bucks 118-113.
The Bucks halted the Cavs offense in the second half with a zone. This led to turnovers and not being able to get to the basket which allowed the Bucks to get back into the game. The offense finally figured out how to counteract the zone midway through the fourth. Still, it was a bit concerning that the Cavs struggled to this level and nearly lost control of a game they were firmly in control of.
The Cavaliers were once again led by Donovan Mitchell. He closed out the game with 10 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter to help his team get accross the finish line.

Sam Merrill continued his torrid start to the season. He put up 17 points on 4-9 shooting from beyond the arc. He’s now converted 15 of his 29 threes (51.7%) on the season. This is on top of providing some much-needed energy in the starting lineup.
De’Andre Hunter made his return to the court on Sunday. He added in 16 points on 6-13 shooting to go along with four rebounds and two assists.
Evan Mobley had a solid defensive game. He drew the primary assignment on Giannis Antetokounmpo and held his own, even if that didn’t necessarily show up in the box score. Mobley provided 23 points, eight rebounds, and six assists in the win.
Speaking of Antetokounmpo, he continued his MVP start of the year. He led all scorers with 40 points, 14 rebounds, and nine assists.
It wasn’t pretty. The Cavs still have a ot of room for improvement, but they’ll be happy to leave this one with the victory.
The Cavaliers are back in action on Monday evening when they head on the road to take on the Detroit Pistons. Tip-off is at 7 P.M.
