The second week of the NFL season is in the books. Here’s how former Arizona Wildcats players fared in Week 2.
Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Carolina Panthers
McMillan didn’t have to wait long to make his professional homecoming trip to Arizona. The Panthers first round draft pick recorded 100 receiving yards on six catches in the Panthers’ 27-22 loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
McMillan played 72 offensive snaps and earned a grade of 69.0, according to Pro Football Focus. He’s been one of the lone bright spots for the Panthers through two
weeks. He also had quite a following for his return to the Grand Canyon State.
Jordan Morgan, LG, Green Bay Packers
Morgan had a rough day at the office on Thursday night, earning a team-worst 41.0 defensive grade per PFF. He played all 68 snaps at left guard. Morgan graded well in pass blocking but very poorly in run blocking. Fortunately for Morgan and Green Bay, the Packers defeated the Washington Commanders 27-18.
Jacory Croskey-Merritt, RB, Washington Commanders
The Commanders starting running back position could soon belong to Croskey-Merritt after Austin Ekeler suffered an Achilles injury Thursday. Croskey-Merritt was held to just 17 yards rushing on four carries, however.
Tyler Loop, K, Baltimore Ravens
Loop converted a pair of field goal attempts in Baltimore’s 41-17 win over Cleveland on Sunday. Loop’s long was from 43 yards. Through two games, he’s 4 for 4 on field goals.
Nick Folk, K, New York Jets
Nick made a 51-yard field goal in the Jets’ 30-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Christian Roland-Wallace, ST, Kansas City Chiefs
Roland-Wallace played 15 special teams snaps and one snap on defense in the Chiefs’ 20-17 loss to Philadelphia. His 52.7 special teams grade was among the worst on the unit.
Roy Lopez, DT, Detroit Lions
Lopez appeared in 31 snaps for the Lions, earning a grade of 45.8, third-lowest on Detroit’s defense. The Lions defeated the Chicago Bears 52-21.
Jonah Savaiinaea, LG, Miami Dolphins
Savaiinaea played all 57 snaps for the Dolphins offensive line on Sunday, but earned a team-worst 26.4 grade. The Dolphins fell to the New England Patriots 33-27.
