What is the story about?
Last week, the ACC announced that Week 4’s rivalry game between the Miami Hurricanes and Florida Gators would be a primetime game. It would either be at 7pm on ESPN or 7:30pm on ABC, with the final decision coming after Week 3’s games.
With the announcement that College GameDay would be coming to Coral Gables, as well as ACC Huddle
, the decision was made to make Canes-Gators a National TV spotlight game.Miami, newly ranked
#4 in the AP poll after beating the brakes off of the previously unbeaten and CFB Cinderella USF Bulls, will face off against the 1-2 Gators, who enter fresh off consecutive losses to those same USF Bulls and LSU Tigers.
So there you have it. Canes-Gators game time and TV have been confirmed.
