The Minnesota Golden Gophers (5-3) return home with their tail between their legs but an opportunity to right the ship against the reeling Michigan State Spartans (3-5) at 2:30 p.m. CST on Saturday, Nov.

This Week’s Thoughts:
gopherguy05: I feel a bounce-back game coming. I’d feel even better if the Gopher offensive line could block and set up a good running game. Fame Ijeboi is due for a total breakout game, but just not sure the offensive line will let him. But as long as Joe Rossi sticks with his plan of zone coverage, I’ll take Drake Lindsey dinking and dunking down the field all day with a deep shot here or there. Get the win, get bowl-eligible, and get to the bye.
GopherNation: I think the offense breaks out.
Blake Ruane: See my opponent preview.
zipsofakron: Bounce-back incoming, mostly because the Gophers got embarrassed and they want some revenge, but also because Sparty is not good. MSU will obviously score on their first possession but I suspect smooth sailing after that.
Ustreet: It’ll probably be a bad game to watch.
mowe0018: P.J. Fleck has made his Minnesota career off of games like this. Since this season has followed the P.J. script to the T (see last week), I see no reason to deviate from the script.
WhiteSpeedReceiver: Last week didn’t happen, and Michigan State isn’t good.
