Sean McVay confirmed that he expects every player on the Rams roster to travel to Australia for Week 1’s game against the 49ers next Thursday, which does include Aaron Donald. According to Ian Rapoport, Donald is still ‘TBD’ for his Week 1 availability against San Francisco. The Rams can carry Donald on their roster for the first two weeks of the season without him counting against the 53-man limit.
Donald has not played
in two and a half years. But with as hard as he’s been training over the summer, it would actually not be surprising if he’s on the field in Week 1 against the 49ers. It wouldn’t be the first time Donald played without participating in training camp.
