It’s been a truly crazy week of college football already, and we haven’t even started the Saturday games yet. To catch you up, on Thursday night NAIA Louisiana Christian became the first NAIA school to beat a Division I scholarship program, downing Northwestern State 42-37. Last night Northern Colorado scored on Weber State to make it 30-29 with three seconds left, then had their game-tying extra point blocked.William & Mary pulled off a furious 4th quarter comeback for the books:
And Cal Poly and Idaho lived up to the billing we gave it on Thursday, with Cal Poly scoring a game winning touchdown on 4th and 8.
Will today’s lineup be that bonkers? Not if Bill Belichick has anything to say about it. I expect a little less drama when North Carolina and TCU kick off in Dublin (Ireland, not Georgia) in a couple of hours. But who knows what the rest of the day holds?
