It has been three days since Bayern Munich and England striker Harry Kane was named the winner of the 2026 Ballon d’Or, and it’s still unbelievable that he actually won it. In his speech, Kane thanked his teammates for playing a part in his win, and he’ll go one step further by giving them gifts.
“Some of the lads have asked for watches or something like that, so I’ll have to come up with something nice for them, both at Bayern and with England,” Kane said (Bild as captured by X account @iMiaSanMia).
“I’ll look into it and make sure I get everyone a nice gift.”
Those gifts will be Kane’s way of saying thank you for being great teammates, players, and friends. In the meantime, Bayern gave the 33-year-old a guard of honor in their latest match. The gift probably won’t be a huge truck of Swiss chocolates (or maybe four), but it will certainly do.
