For the second day in a row, Eli Drinkwitz and the staff have landed an in-state commitment to add to their 2027 recruiting class. This one comes from the Kansas City area.
Caleb Green, a three-star linebacker from Lee’s Summit North has announced his commitment to Missouri. He’s the younger brother of current offensive tackle Cayden Green.
He chose Mizzou over Missouri State and Tulsa, but Iowa State and Central Florida were some of his notable power conference offers. In his junior season at Lee’s Summit North, Green led the team with 14.5 tackles per game and 2.5 sacks per game — helping them to a 6-4 overall record.
Green becomes the 8th overall commit in Mizzou’s 2027 recruiting class and joins tight end Jack Brown, wide receiver Chris Harris Jr. and safety Keiran Govan as in-state pledges. For more on Govan’s commitment, visit RockM+.
