The Seattle Seahawks have their backs against the wall. They have only lost three straight once under Mike Macdonald, and that was back in the pre-Ernest Jones part of the 2024 season. The reigning Super Bowl champions are 3-3, struggling on offense, and dealing with some key injuries on both sides of the ball. What’s not a pleasant sight to see is the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs and their league-leading rusher, a fella by the name of Kenneth Walker III.
Can the Seahawks offense stop turning the ball
over? Can they finally look good on third down? Will the defense be able to stymie their former teammate and prevent him from rushing for over 100 yards again? Will Seattle’s pass rush do anything to fluster Patrick Mahomes? Is Sam Darnold going to continue playing bench-worthy football or will he snap out of his funk? A lot of questions, a lot of uncertainties, but one thing I do know is the Seahawks will be sporting the throwbacks one more time.
Join us in our SNF game chat! Once again, we cleared well over 7,000 comments in last week’s game thread, which is one of the main perks of the new SB Nation App (available in the USA and Canada). We’re a vibrant and active community as is, but the app really gets utilized a lot during game days. Live mode works almost too well, and the comment responsiveness is better than ever!
Join Field Gulls on game day!
Stay on top of every Seahawks update and debate every snap with other members of the 12s. Game-day discussion is smoother in the SB Nation app.
