Jamal Musiala was pulled from Germany’s lineup just prior to the start of the Netherlands game on Thursday and now the attacking midfielder is headed back to Säbener Straße per a release from Bayern Munich:
Jamal Musiala is set to return early from duty with the German national team. As the German Football Association announced on Friday, the FC Bayern midfielder has suffered a torn muscle fibre in his right thigh. The 23-year-old picked up the injury on Thursday evening whilst warming up for the DFB
side’s UEFA Nations League opener in the Netherlands; Musiala had actually been named in the starting XI for the match in Amsterdam. He’ll now begin his rehab programme at FC Bayern.
The news, though, is not ideal per Sky Germany’s Kerry Hau, who is reporting that Musiala will be out three or four weeks:
Jamal Musiala (muscle fiber tear in the thigh) will be sidelined for three to four weeks.

In addition to Musiala, Arsenal’s Kai Havertz, who left the Netherlands draw with a muscular issue, is also leaving camp. Musiala and Havertz are being replaced by Liverpool’s Florian Wirtz and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Jonathan Burkardt (via Hau):
