Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Jaguars fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
Jaguars fans — are you confident the team is headed in the right direction?
And where does Josh Hines-Allen rank among the team’s all-time greats?
Hines-Allen is the most accomplished pass rusher in franchise history. His sack against Justin Herbert on Sunday was the 56th of his career,
passing Tony Bracken’s total of 55 for the most by a Jaguar.
“I don’t think it was ever a chase thing,” he said after the game. “It was just, for me, just playing football and doing what I needed to do. I’m ready to go out, watch this film. Who are we playing next week?”
The New Jersey native also ranks first in tackles for loss (69), first in quarterback hits (137), third in forced fumbles (10), and 17th in combined tackles (323) in franchise history. Sunday was his 100th regular season game, making him just the 30th Jaguar to reach that mark.
Jacksonville’s ring of honor, The Pride of the Jaguars, only has four players in it: Tony Boselli, Mark Brunell, Fred Taylor, and Jimmy Smith. Is Hines-Allen worthy of joining that group?
