Lead Rumor: Seth Rollins’ status
We haven’t seen Seth Rollins since SummerSlam, where he and Roman Reigns tore the house down in a world heavyweight championship match before finally making good with each other after many years as sworn enemies. During a Q&A session, WrestleVotes said they haven’t heard his name come up “in a while.”
They do say he should “be back relatively soon” but also noted he was never supposed to be out for a prolonged period of time. However, we’re coming up on six
weeks since he last appeared on television for WWE.
The good news is that he’s not injured and his absence is simply a creative decision. He doesn’t seem to really fit anywhere in the current landscape on Monday Night Raw, so waiting for the right time to bring him back makes sense to me.
We’ll just have to wait a bit longer.

- For what it’s worth, Baron Corbin told The Sportster that this latest contract he signed with WWE, a multi-year deal, will likely be his last.
- On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said Tony Khan made the decision to run less commercials during the first hour of Dynamite this past week because he felt fans would be curious to see the fallout from All In, and he didn’t want interruptions at the start.
- It did cause an issue later because they had to make up time deeper into the show, including the overrun.
- Meltzer also noted that Wendy Choo’s release was largely about her having been in NXT for a long time and not developing. She wasn’t viewed as a bad wrestler, however.
