The college basketball season is here and Indiana’s men’s and women’s programs saw their first action of the year this week in Assembly Hall.
Darian DeVries’ program won 91-57 over Eastern Illinois on Monday evening, looking every bit of the strong rebounding unit it was built to be in the offseason as Markus Burton starred as a scorer and passer. Teri Moren’s group beat Florida Gulf Coast 79-50 on Tuesday night, showing the same passing that’s been a hallmark of Moren’s teams over the years.
Both
will be back in action this week with the men’s program taking on Bellarmine on Thursday evening while the women’s team faces Southern Illinois on Friday.
