Kemon Spell Update
Recruiting analyst Brian Dohn put in a projection for Kemon Spell to re-commit to Penn State on Saturday:
Spell decommitted from Penn State on October 12 following James Franklin’s ousting, but the Nittany Lions reoffered him on December 10. Matt Campbell and staff are looking to reclaim the No. 1 running back and No. 7 overall recruit in the 2027 class.
Penn State Re-offers Four-Star 2027 Running Back
Penn State offered 2027 Massachusetts running back Isaiah Rogers:
Rogers is the No. 7 running back in the 2027 class. If the Nittany Lions can gain commitments from both Spell and Rogers, the backfield will be set for the near future.
Penn State Offers Four-Star Texas DL
Penn State extended an offer to four-star Texas defensive lineman George Toia:
Toia is the No. 7 defensive lineman and No. 83 overall recruit in the 2027 class. There is no clear frontrunner for him as of today, but Oklahoma, Ole Miss, USC, Texas Tech, and Ohio State are all in the mix. I do not expect Penn State to land him, but the staff is shooting for the moon.
Penn State Offers Washington Commit
2027 cornerback Maurice Williams is committed to Washington, but that did not stop Penn State from offering him yesterday:
Williams is the No. 46 cornerback in the 2027 class. It will be a tall order for Penn State to pry him away from the in-state Huskies, but I have seen stranger things happen.
