FSU’s 2027 recruiting class was previously unranked by ESPN as they do team rankings differently from the other two services in the industry. They’re now ranked 33rd overall.
Mike Norvell has assembled a group led by a mix of well-rounded four-stars on defense. Ta’Shawn Poole was a key addition as he is an electric two-way player out of the Georgia high school ranks. He will become the first player from Howard High School to sign with a Power 4 program. His instincts and range project best to safety, where he currently ranks among the top players at the position on the SC Next 300. He’s one of two SC Next 300 safeties committed to Florida State along with Jernard Albright, who has excellent speed to close lanes and good size at 6-2, 200 pounds.
