The Steelers’ Week 3 injury report for Wednesday included four players who did not participate.
According to Steelers.com, running back Rico Dowdle (toe), cornerback Jamel Dean (ankle), cornerback Jalen Ramsey (rest day) and linebacker Cole Holcomb (personal) all did not practice.
According to insider Ian Rapoport, Dowdle’s injury is not seen as serious, and he’s “day to day” ahead of Week 3.
Running back Jaylen Warren (shoulder) was listed as limited, and after missing Week 2 against the Patriots due
to injury, veteran wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. was upgraded to limited on Wednesday.
In the latest update to the Steelers’ Joey Porter Jr. saga, the cornerback was listed as limited with a non-injury and conditioning designation. His back issues are off the injury report once again.
Pittsburgh’s Week 3 opponent, the Bengals, had a shorter injury report, with three DNPs: defensive tackles Jonathan Allen and B.J. Hill, and wide receiver Andrei Iosivas.
Iosivas is expected to land on injured reserve for Cincinnati.
