Bayern Munich will eventually prepare for negotiations to extend Michael Olise’s contract beyond 2029, and the club’s intentions are clear — they will try absolutely everything to secure the Frenchman’s long-term future in Munich.
Per board member for sport Max Eberl, no talks have taken place as of yet, but when they do, it is expected that Olise would become the highest paid player on the team.
According to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), an extension would
see Olise become Bayern’s highest-paid player, underlining just how important he has become to the club’s sporting project. Despite interest from Real Madrid, sources close to the Spanish giants reportedly expect Olise to extend his contract with Bayern Munich rather than seek a move elsewhere.
Given his performances and growing influence, Bayern Munich’s determination to keep him comes as little surprise. Olise has established himself as one of the team’s most important attacking players, and securing his future would be a major statement of intent.
The negotiations could prove crucial for Bayern’s long-term ambitions. The club clearly views Olise as a cornerstone of its future, and it appears willing to back that belief financially.
Bayern Munich wants to build around Olise — and it seems like they might be prepared to pay whatever it takes.
