Things have certainly changed when it comes to Juventus’ status and chances of qualifying for the top four in Serie A during these first three matchdays coming out of the March international break.
When the break was about to end, Juve were three points behind in fifth and needed a whole lot of help beyond that to jump over Como. Since then, not only has that jump happened, but the scope of everything has changed in a hurry.
Not only are Juventus now five points clear of Como in fifth, but they’re
also suddenly putting heat on AC Milan and Napoli in the standings. That is something I don’t think anybody could have imagined taking place over the course of these past three weeks. But it has! And now Juventus are in so much more of a better position than they were as compared to when the first international break of 2026 came to an end and we were wondering just how this club might actually be able to pull off Champions League qualification.
There’s still plenty of twists and turns in this road to come — especially considering how the last three weeks have gone. For now, though, Juventus are in a pretty good place both in terms of how they’re playing and how the results elsewhere have helped them make up so much ground so quickly.
