Rumors for the Day:
- Self Made Pro claims Cody Rhodes will have more of an edge to his character upon his return, as a way to match Randy Orton as they build to their match at WrestleMania 42.
- Ronda Rousey is not expected back in AEW anytime soon, as her Revolution appearance was just a one-off, at least for now, says PW Insider.
- According to Bodyslam.net, the current plan for the women’s tag team titles at WrestleMania 42 is a Fatal 4-Way pitting The Irresistible Forces vs. Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs. The Bella Twins vs. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria.
- All of the WWE NXT content that was on Peacock is now on the brand’s YouTube page, per Bryan Alvarez.
- Former indie booker Adam Abdalla is bidding to buy TrillerTV (fka Fite TV) through his company, Orange Crush. That from PW Insider, which added that one of Abdalla’s plans involves incorporating music video to “augment” the service’s existing pro wrestling and MMA content.
- Thunder Rosa claimed on The Cruz Show on REAL 92.3 LA that WWE offered her a $60K contract to stop wrestling and become a referee back in 2019.
