Walk with Elijah for TNA’s first-ever Guitar Strap Match. Elijah battled Frankie Kazarian in the main event of Impact (Apr. 30, 2026) in a musical take on the strap match. Both competitors were strapped together backstage with the objective to fight to the ring and touch all for corners for victory. The strap was a guitar strap, because that was a weapon previously used in this feud. Of course, the finish involved a guitar shot over the head.
Here is a taste of the backstage action with Kaz rubbing
liquid soap in Elijah’s eyes and slamming a door shut on Elijah’s arm all to the soundtrack of a bluesy guitar riff.
Let’s get to the nitty-gritty. Kaz jumped on Elijah’s back for the chickenwing submission. Elijah carried the weight from corner to corner to corner. He was unable to keep his balance for the fourth corner.
Kazarian had his chance to touch all four corners after a backcracker. After touching three corners, he hastily stepped over the strap, and Elijah pulled up into the groin to prevent corner four.
Elijah took control in the end with a tombstone piledriver.
Elijah touched three corners. Kazarian recovered enough to use his weight to anchor Elijah out of reach for corner four. What was in reach was Elijah’s guitar. Kabong! Elijah cracked the guitar over Kaz’s head and touched the final corner for victory.
That was a fitting finish for the Guitar Strap Match and this feud. Elijah is racking up interesting wins in signature stipulation matches. He previously beat Mustafa Ali in a Guitar Case Casket Match, and now he has this win in the record books.
