Celta Vigo boss Claudio Giraldez takes his team to Camp Nou on Wednesday to face Barcelona as La Liga resumes after a weekend off due to the Copa del Rey final.
Ahead of the match, Giraldez has been asked to name which Barca players he would love to have in his team and come up with three.
“I would tell you three: Lamine, Pedri and Raphinha. It’s hard to choose, they’re all very good,” he told Sport.
Giraldez went on to describe Yamal as “the most creative and most talented player in the world” and said
that Pedri “is the glue that unites everyone.”
The Celta boss is also confident Yamal will win the Ballon d’Or at some point in the future, explaining: “Lamine, if it’s not going to be this year, it’s going to be next year. He is a chosen one, sooner or later he will have it and I don’t think only one.”
Barca won 4-2 earlier in the season when the two teams met at Balaidos, but Giraldez is confident his team can cause an upset in Catalunya.
“We’re going to the league leaders’ ground, where they’ve won everything. We’ll try to be the first to do so. We have to be perfect defensively,” he told reporters at his pre-match press conference.
“We have to hurt them in attack; if you’re not capable of that, they’re a team that will eventually punish you because they have every attacking resource imaginable.
“They’re a very complete team in attack and play at a very high tempo. Last year we came close there, but after going down 1-3, we weren’t able to push forward or defend properly, and we fell short.”
