According to Chris Tomasson of the Denver Gazette, the Denver Broncos have waived cornerback Reese Taylor. The undrafted rookie from Purdue signed with the Kansas City Chiefs after the 2023 NFL Draft before then joining the Broncos in November of that same year.
Reese Taylor went undrafted in 2023 after college at Indiana (2018-2021) and Purdue (2022), playing 53 games with 108 tackles, 18 passes defensed, three interceptions, and return duties. The third-year
cornerback is likely a strong candidate for the practice squad having competed with the team in back-to-back training camps now. The Broncos did have a lot of cornerback competition this preseason, so there will be only so many spots to fill there on the practice squad for this position.
