There are a few ACC stories worth mentioning in a catch-up sort of way.
First, although we reported this earlier, Maxim Logue has decommitted from UNC, apparently because he didn’t make it through admissions.
Second, Louisville got a nice coup when Obinna Ekezie Jr. committed to Pat Kelsey’s program. He’s highly regarded, but is 16, so we’ll see where he is. His father, as you may know, played at Maryland for Gary Williams.
Having him and Flory Bidunga should rectify Louisville’s interior defensive
issues from last season.
Ryan Odom had a spectacular first season at Virginia, lost no one in the portal…but that’s not enough for Jerry Ratcliffe, who thinks he should have done better in the portal. Well, 30 wins is a pretty powerful argument. Odom must be pretty confident in his team.
