Good morning BBN, and Happy Labor Day!
This is a big week in the Bluegrass State as the Kentucky Wildcats begin to prepare for a date with the Ole Miss Rebels this Saturday at Kroger Field.
Sitting at 1-0 on the season, this past weekend’s win over Toledo did not do much to inspire the fanbase heading into this matchup. Nevertheless, Mark Stoops and his squad will be looking to pull off the upset over the Rebels once again. Now the question is: How can they do that?
We will talk about it plenty this
week, but it really comes down to two major things to watch for; Can the UK defense replicate the performance we saw against Toledo? Can Zach Calzada take even the slightest step forward?
Last season in Oxford, we saw pretty much this exact same game plan by both teams. Let’s see if Stoops and his staff can pull off the major win to really get some momentum heading into conference play this year.
