We’re only 88 days away from Penn State’s 2026 football season kicking off, and today we’re focusing on an Iowa State transfer in defensive end Ikenna Ezeogu. Ikenna started in 11 games last year for the Cyclones, racking up 25 total tackles, including three for a loss, one sack, a pass breakup, and a fumble recovery.
With Dani Dennis-Sutton off to the NFL and Zuriah Fisher having transferred to USC for his final year of college ball, the starting defensive end spots are wide open for the taking,
and Ezeogu is expected to fill in one of those spots. At 6’5” and 278 pounds, he brings a larger frame for an edge rusher and would be a huge boon to a part of the defense with the most question marks if he is able to wreak havoc in opposing backfields.
