We’ve got an extra long wait heading into Monday night’s game against the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium.
The Commanders headed out west on Saturday afternoon to properly acclimate for what has become a massive game on the schedule.
This Week 6 matchup wasn’t one just after the schedule came out. Week 5’s events and a 1-3-1 overall record has changed some things, especially after an inexcusable Commanders blunder — we won’t rehash it here — that resulted in a 27-27 tie.
The intensity has increased
around Washington even heading into a game as clear underdogs to an undefeated 49ers team.
How will the Commanders respond? Will they rally behind Dan Quinn, a head coach on some tenuous ground? Can Jayden Daniels go full JD5 and dominate?
Here are five questions we’d like you to answer about this game in the article comments below. As always, we’ll add the best responses to the article itself so everyone can see them. Thanks for participating in this exercise, by the way. The insight’s always solid.
Question 1: Let’s keep this one simple. What’s the key to victory? (And don’t say score more points than the other team. Gimme something real.)
Question 2: Excluding Purdy, which 49ers player do the Commanders absolutely, positively have to stop?
Question 3: Do you think Dan Quinn is coaching for his job on Monday night? Should he be?
Question 4: Which Commanders running back will lead the team in rushing? And will it be higher than Daniels’ total?
Question 5: Same question as always: If the Commanders are to win this game, give us an unsung hero who helps them do so.
Again, give us some answers to each question in the article comments below:
