I don’t dedicate many articles to my podcast episodes anymore. When I get the chance, I will stick them in The Feed on the top right of the main page. Most the feedback I’ve gotten, however, has been that people know how to find the podcast, and they prefer to leave the main page of this site to actual articles.
There is one episode each year that tends to be an exception. Ian Eagle of CBS Sports pays an annual visit before the start of each season.
Ian calls each Jets preseason game locally on WCBS
2 in New York. He is also a prominent part of CBS’ NFL coverage throughout the season. Additionally, Ian is the play-by-play voice of the Final Four in college basketball and is the lead voice of the NBA on Amazon Prime Video. Nets fans also know him for his work calling the team’s games on the YES Network. I’m sure I have also missed some of Ian’s work.
I am thrilled that Ian is back with me in 2026 to talk about the upcoming Jets season.
