Kentucky basketball’s recruiting momentum continues to surge, and this time with another 5-star forward expected to visit Kentucky next weekend, according to Dushawn London of 247 Sports.
Baba Oladotun,
a 6-foot-10, 195-pound small forward from Blake Silver Spring, Missouri, has officially reclassified from the class of 2027 to 2026. With that move, he now ranks as the No. 10 overall prospect in the 2026 recruiting class, according to 247 Sports.
Oladotun first received an offer from Kentucky back in September of 2024 and will make his way to Lexington next weekend for an official visit starting Friday, October 17. The highly regarded prospect has recently taken trips to Virginia Tech, Maryland, and Georgetown and also holds offers from some of the nation’s biggest programs, including Arizona State, Arkansas, BYU, Gonzaga, Indiana, Kansas, and Louisville.
Kentucky has been aggressive in their pursuit of top-tier 2026 talent, scheduling visits with several of the nation’s top-ranked prospects. Oladotun’s upcoming visit only adds to the growing excitement around Kentucky’s recruiting efforts under Mark Pope, who has made it clear he’s targeting elite athleticism and length on the wing.
If Kentucky can impress Oladotun during his visit, the Wildcats could find themselves firmly in contention for one of the most versatile and explosive players in the class and potentially their next cornerstone recruit.
