The TCU women’s basketball team has another first-round draft selection and she’s now the highest draft pick in program history. All-American and All-Big 12 guard Olivia Miles, who led the Horned Frogs to a Big 12 title and a second consecutive Elite Eight appearances, was taken by the Minnesota Lynx with the No. 2 overall pick during the 2026 WNBA Draft on Monday evening. Miles, who was named both the Big 12 Player of the Year and the Newcomer of the Year, averaged 19.6 points, 7.2 rebounds and 6.6
assists per game during the 2025-26 season.
Miles, who starred at Notre Dame before transferring to TCU for her final season of college basketball, guided the Horned Frogs to a 32-6 record and their second Big 12 title in two seasons. She becomes the program’s second first-round draft selection in two years, joining Hailey Van Lith. Miles played in all 38 games for the Horned Frogs, shooting 48.1% from the floor and 35.1% from 3-point range with 1.8 steals per game. Over the course of her six-year college career, Miles played in 139 games and earned All-American honors three times.
