The Brewers took Game 1 of their NLDS matchup against the Padres in pretty strange fashion on Saturday. Ty France’s 9th inning home run bid hit the roof of American Family Field and turned into a fly out instead. The rules are the rules but that was a pretty bizarre and unfortunate outcome that took the game out of the players’ hands at a key moment. Meanwhile, the Dodgers took Game 1 of their series against the Braves behind a good Tarik Skubal start and power from Teoscar Hernandez, Kyle Tucker,
and Max Muncy.
The two American League series will get back underway on Monday. Today it’s just the National League matchups battling it out in Game 2, with the broadcasts on TBS.
RHP Logan Henderson of the Braves will take on the Padres RHP Michael King at 4:00 p.m. ET.
LHP Blake Snell will start for the Dodgers, while the Braves are in line for another bullpen game at 8:00 p.m. ET.
