What is the story about?
The boyz are back, baby!!!! Jac, Vinnie, Maikel, Bob, everyone’s here—on offense, as it were. Yesterday, they scored a bunch of runs. It was delightful.
Today, they will need to score a bunch of runs. The Royals are inexplicably sticking Daniel Lynch IV in the rotation. Lynch’s career splits are super obvious: as a starter, he’s got a 5.31 ERA and a .349 wOBA against. As a reliever, he’s got a 2.47 ERA and a .278 wOBA against. This year is even more lopsided, albeit with only four innings as a starter.
After Lynch, they’ll have more bullpen innings than normal, and we all know how well the bullpen has pitched this year.
But that just means we’re in for a high-scoring win, right?
