1. ANDREY SANTOS (8.3)
We’ve seen — well, heard about, mostly, to be more precise — Andrey Santos excelling for sister-club RC Strasbourg over the past couple seasons, and now we’ve got to witness that first-hand in Chelsea
Blue as well.
Santos stepped into the “Caicedo-role” and made it so that not only did we not miss our most important player, but that Caicedo also did not have to move a muscle for 90 minutes on the bench, keeping him fresh (as can be) for the upcoming Barcelona and Arsenal matches.
“Andrey was excellent. His position is the position he played today. With us most of the time he has been playing a little bit higher, in the pocket. In that [deeper] position we have Moi, so we try to find solutions for Andrey. We are aware his position is the one he played today.“

2. PEDRO NETO (7.9)
Speaking of being fresh, Neto looked fresh as a daisy after his two-week rest during the international break, and he promptly had a key hand in both goals: heading in the first from Jamie Gittens’ excellent cross, then releasing Marc Guiu with a nice reverse through ball that led to our second. If secondary assists were an official stat, as they should be, he would be getting one there.
It’s been a very good season so far for Neto, and only Caicedo has more player ratings podium appearances than him.
3. ENZO FERNÁNDEZ (7.5)
Like Neto, Enzo got to have two weeks off during the international break, specifically to let his knee recover a bit, and he responded positively as well, including with his team-leading fifth goal of the season.
