The San Francisco Giants are wrapping up their 2025 season this afternoon. And while the season is almost over, we do still have one last weekly pick to get to. So it’s time
to find out what everyone’s favorite highlights were this week.
I was so tempted to do a sarcastic pick this week and say that the fact that they did not get swept in a four-game series by the Dodgers was the highlight of the week. But my brother reminded me that something awesome did happen this week, so I’ll spare you the sarcasm and get right into it.
My pick for highlight of the week is going to be Rafael Devers hitting his first splash hit in Wednesday’s 4-3 win over the St. Louis Cardinals.
As someone whose list of favorite players includes both Barry Bonds and Brandon Belt, I am a big, big fan of splash hits. And it’s great to see Devers join the ranks of the great splash hitters!
