The Wisconsin Badgers are facing off against the No. 23 Washington Huskies on Saturday, with kickoff slated for 3:30 p.m.
Wisconsin is coming off its second bye week and is changing quarterbacks, as sophomore Danny O’Neil is back at the helm after getting benched earlier this season.
O’Neil had one quality start against Middle Tennessee, but struggled against the Alabama Crimson Tide and Maryland Terrapins, which led to Wisconsin going to Hunter Simmons at quarterback.
However, Simmons couldn’t get
much momentum going, really struggling over the last three games, and Wisconsin is finally making a change.
O’Neil isn’t the only quarterback expected to play, as true freshman Carter Smith is expected to see some game time after getting some first and second-team reps in practice over the last two weeks.
Wisconsin does have a long injury list, which includes linebacker Christian Alliegro and safety Preston Zachman, for the game. Here’s the full injury report.
