Michael Olise has taken the entire world by storm over the last year, yet he has notably still not signed a sponsorship deal for his football boots. He has been linked with Nike as of late, having debuted an unreleased pair of Nike cleats in training. However, according to Tz’s Vinzent Tschirpke, Adidas is also in the running for Olise’s coveted signature.
Adidas are interested in Michael Olise. The company’s CEO Bjørn Gulden said during an event in New York that he’s a big fan of the Bayern winger
and that he would like to sign him to Adidas (as captured by @iMiaSanMia)
Olise has been noted for matching his boots to his kit, achieving a clean monotone look as he mesmerizes viewers with his ability on the ball. However, it will be difficult for any brand to get Olise to sign an exclusive sponsorship deal, as his entourage has stated in the past that he is simply “not interested” in a deal of any sort.
Regardless of whether a deal is on the cards or not, it is refreshing to see a superstar of his calibre go without a boot deal for so long. Who do you think Olise will sign with — if he does at all? Tell us in the comments below!
