The Husker women entered the AP rankings this week at #24 and are #12 in the NET rankings. They now take on the Omaha Mavericks in the second of two games against in-state opponents.
The Huskers’ super sophomores, Britt Prince and Amiah Hargrove, lead the team in scoring and rebounding respectively. The Huskers feature an offense that racked up 101 points against the Penn State Lady Lions and has scored 80 points or more every game this season.
The Mavericks are in a very different place than Nebraska
right now and have a 1-8 record. The Huskers will need to avoid looking past this opponent if they want to keep their win streak intact.
