Michigan running back Jordan Marshall was having quite the day against Northwestern in a 24-22 Michigan win, but left the game in the fourth quarter with an apparent shoulder injury.
After the game, Michigan
head coach Sherrone Moore provided an encouraging injury update. Moore was asked whether the injury was serious, to which he said, “No.”
“Just got X-rays. Feels like he’s in a good place. He’s gonna get a nice ice bath. Make sure he gets the best masseuse in town. They can take care of them. I can’t pay for that, obviously. Let him handle that. They got plenty to handle that. Take care of him and get him ready for these games that we’ve got coming up.”
Marshall rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns before the injury. Marshall’s return is all the more important with Justice Haynes now out for the season, per Fox play-by-play commentator Gus Johnson.
