Good morning guys, gals, and non-binary pals and welcome to the final week of the preseason. Today, your Houston Texans travel back to the Midwest to take on a potential NFC contender in the Detroit Lions.
Seeing as this is the final week of the preseason, I would fully expect most of the starters to either be sealed in bubble wrap for the regular season or, at most, getting a single drive in on either side of the ball before breaking out the bubble wrap.
So this week will be a battle of the bubble
players. All the players who haven’t secured a spot on the roster (while technically that’s everybody, we know some players are already on the roster) will have one last chance to show their skills and convince DeMeco and the coaching staff that they deserve to make the roster; or the practice squad. I’m sure some of them aren’t picky about that.
Sit back, relax and take in the smell of determination and desperation for this final preseason game.
