Cooper Kupp has won multiple Super Bowl titles, including one with his home state Seattle Seahawks in 2025. Now, he’s taking on a new challenge by opening a coffee shop. That Kupp is into coffee isn’t surprising considering his ties to the Seattle area. The fact that the coffee shop will be in Fayetteville, Arkansas, may elicit some surprise, however.
Kupp and his wife, along with other family members, started Dodo Coffee in 2024. After selling coffee out of a small building in Arkansas, they ran
into problems and lost the building in 2025. This new location was built specifically for the Dodo Coffee location, and Kupp couldn’t be more excited.
“We shared what we were about, who we are. And he just built us, designed for us basically this building that was going to fit all the things, all the intentional things, that we’re about and try and make them a physical place to come drink coffee,” Kupp said.
Dodo Coffee is a passion project for Kupp, and they go to great lengths to source the beans and syrups used in their shop.
“There’s an intention all the way through to be like how can we also just make sure that you’re getting the very best. That you are going to, by the time you’re enjoying the coffee, that you’re having it the way you’re supposed to,” Kupp said.
Kupp is still a force to be reckoned with on the field, receiving rave reviews in training camp so far this year. This new endeavor could be his second act in retirement from the NFL. Maybe there will be a Dodo Coffee in Seattle some day?
