The Daily Merengue is a place where you can feel free to d all things football. Do not be alarmed by the overt RMCF bias. It’s in the name! Shoutout to the mods who do a fantastic job, Ezek, Valyrian Steel, Kung_Fu_Zizou, Juninho, NeRObutBlanco and yours truly, Felipejack.
The end of the break
Today, are the last games of the current FIFA break. Real Madrid players in action today are Bellingham and Trent vs Czech Republic and Cucurella and Huijsen vs Croatia.
One of the best thing for Real Madrid out of this break has
been Camavinga’s performances under Zidane. Yesterday vs Belgium, he had 89% pass accuracy, 8 recoveries, 4 interceptions, 6 defensive contributions, 11 passes into final third • 0 fouls committed.
AS’ interview with Davide Ancelotti
AS has released an hour-long interview with Davide Ancelotti, who is the Lille’s manager. I haven’t watched it completely yet, but Davided discussed interesting points about Real Madrid, such as Vini’s reaction in the El Clasico last season, and how Kroos departure affects the team, etc. It’s worth checking it out.
Issues with Mbappe?
Once again, Mbappe is on the spotlight, but not from his performances.
