On Monday, Notre Dame released its injury report and depth chart as the Irish prepare to drive down the road to take on the Purdue Boilermakers for the Shillelagh Trophy.
Notre Dame’s lone new injury report addition is safety Luke Talich. The Wyoming native is listed as questionable for Saturday’s game, but Notre Dame should find out today if he can actually play against Purdue or not. Talich was going to play a lot this season anyways, but he has been a key defensive contributor since Tae Johnson
went down against Wisconsin. If Talich is unable to go, Notre Dame will send out former five-star safety, Joey O’Brien to play at the field safety spot.
