Preparations for the upcoming season are starting to get under way all across Europe, which means that we need to start getting a move on with a whole bunch of transfer and loan business. Here’s one complete from yesterday, with many more to go for players waiting to resolve their futures.
The immediate future for young Harrison Murray-Campbell will be a loan to the Belgian top division, to newly promoted KV Kortrijk. Kortrijk is a city in the northwest part of the country, about an hour from Brussels,
and their football team bounced straight back up after suffering relegation last year. They had flirted with the drop for several years before finally falling through, but they’re back already and presumably looking to stay.
Murray-Campbell could be an important part of that quest, with the 19-year-old joining for the season ahead (he turns 20 next month). He was a key part of our PL2-winning (well, the regular season, not so much the playoffs) side last year and he was even nominated for PL2 Player of the Season. The season prior, he had made his senior debut as well, with an appearance in the UEFA Conference League.
“Despite his young age, he possesses a great deal of maturity and leadership. He is strong in duels, comfortable on the ball, and has also shown that he can contribute offensively. We look forward to helping Harrison develop further this season.”

Good luck, Harrison!
