One of the more interesting battles during the Las Vegas Raiders’ training camp and preseason has been at quarterback behind new starter Geno Smith.
Incumbent Aidan O;Connell is trying to hold off rookie, sixth-round pick Cam Miller.
The decision will likely be made once the Raiders have to set their initial 53-man roster Tuesday at 1 p.m. PT. If Connell wins the job, Miller can also easily make the team as the No. 3 quarterback. If Miller wins the battle, O’Connell could sent packing either in a trade
or be released.
O’Connell has throw three interceptions this preseason, although he was better against San Francisco than hew as against Seattle in the preseason opener.
Miller was excellent against Seattle, but struggled some against the 49ers.
